COX8A(Cytochrome c oxidase subunit 8A) is also named as COX8, COX8L and belongs to the cytochrome c oxidase VIII family. This protein is one of the nuclear-coded polypeptide chains of cytochrome c oxidase, the terminal oxidase in mitochondrial electron transport.
