UQCRC2 (ubiquitin cytochrome c reductase complex core protein 2) is a component of the ubiquitin cytochrome c reductase complex (complex III or cytochrome b-c1 complex) and is a multi subunit transmembrane complex. UQCRC2 is a part of the mitochondrial electron transport chain that drives oxidative phosphorylation.
